Holiday packing essentials

There are a few things you should never leave home without when travelling. Some things are a must, like great sun protection when going on a summer trip and some are brilliant little luxuries that make life so much easier and that you’ve probable never heard of.

Essentials

Evy Daily Defense Mousse SPF 50

Hands down the best sun protection I’ve ever used. Why? Because it’s as light as air while being extremely efficient. A mousse that turns into a light cream when rubbed between your palms, it stays put even when swimming and sweating. It only needs to be re-applied after 6 hours which makes life so much easier when on the beach. It’s specially made for the face and is very moisturising, so no products are needed underneath it.

Evy SPF 30 Sunscreen Mousse

This comes in a bigger bottle and is for the body (although perfectly fine to use on the face as well). Also a mousse, which means it’s super light, non-sticky, water resistant and lasts for 6 hours.

Evy Aftersun Mousse

Super light (a mousse again) and super hydrating. Absorbs into the top layers of the skin (as opposed to a cream which stays on the surface) and therefore works at a deeper level. Calming, soothing, hydrating and excellent on irritated or slightly burnt skin.

Fulvic Acid Travel Trio

Special travel size versions of this amazing shampoo, conditioner and hair mist. This incredible range promotes thicker and stronger hair. It’s specially good if you have suffered from hair loss or thinning, slow growth or your hair is dull and lifeless. Never mind the travel versions, this is a great range for at home as well.

Luxuries

deCrease Travel Iron Free

This is such a brilliant product, you will thank me, I promise you. All those crumpled clothes coming out of your jam-packed suitcase, are no longer a problem. Spray the wrinkles away and watch as your clothes smooth out. No need to spend valuable holiday time ironing away.

It’s fragrance free and even makes your clothes super soft. It’s kind to the environment as well as your skin. It’s also very popular and regularly runs out, so don’t delay a single minute in ordering this.

Beach Powder

I have not yet had the opportunity to try this one in person, but I can’t wait to do so. I love the beach but hate the feel of sand on me (I don’t think I’m alone in this!). This powder (talc free and environmentally friendly) removes both wet and dry sand from the skin. Just sprinkle onto sandy skin, wipe off with your hands and is if by magic, the sand is gone and skin is smooth and silky. It’s safe for use on adults and children, even babies. Whoever invented this is a genius!

  1. Thanks for all your information. Very informative!

Do you use Evy Daily Defense Mousse SPF 50 on a daily basis before going out.

I live in a very hot climate–Charleston, South Carolina– and need it most of the year. Is it applied over face creams one normally uses?

Yes I certainly do in the summer months. I do their 30spf in winter. It’s perfect for where you live because it’s very light, can be worn under makeup and lasts most of the day even if you sweat.
