A few months ago, I wrote an article for Hello magazine on this subject and it got a huge response. It made me ponder as to why this was the case. I suspect it’s because most of us have low energy a lot of the time, even when we’re not busy.
I decided to make a video about it to show all the things I’ve done while touring round the country with my play, to keep me going.
Energy is a precious commodity
Many people feel tired most of the time, even when not busy. This is a sign that you need to make changes to your lifestyle and to take positive action to up your energy levels.
Last year, after some challenging personal events, my energy was at its lowest ebb, to a point that I could barely function. I went on a mission to change that and was able to take on the play a few months later. When I think back to how I felt less than a year ago, I can’t quite believe how far I’ve come.
These are the things I looked at:
- diet change
- supplements
- stress management
- sleep
- home comforts on the road
You don’t have to be on the road like me to make these changes. I began all this before I even knew I would be doing the play, without which I would never have been able to take it on.
One of the things I mention in the video is a breathing exercise I do for stress and have posted the link below in case yoou’d like to check it out:
