Three months since I began my skin rejuvenation with my first Hifu treatment! I know that I need patience as collagen takes time to renew, which is just as well as so far I can see no change whatsoever. Patience has never been my strong point but I’m feeling optimistic about this as have heard such good things about Hifu.

August ’19 – my follow up consultation
The follow up treatment comes as part of the package which is great as you get a top up to make sure you get the best results. I didn’t take any arnica or aspirin this time and I actually had less discomfort. The treatment was a short version of the first one and I didn’t have any aching in the bones afterwards.
I was thoroughly spoilt on this visit and given a Collagen Wave while I was waiting for the Hifu therapist. I’ve written about this treatment before and it continues to be one of my favourites.
When the Hifu was finished I was treated to a Frozen Facial. So a triple whammy of skin treats.
Dermaspa is like an Aladdin’s cave of wonderful treatments
The Frozen Facial consisted of a thorough cleanse and gentle exfoliation. Then comes the frozen part when an infusion of Cryo-oxygen and hyaluronic serum (full of plant stem cells) are delivered into the lower level of the skin through a closed circuit of freezing cold oxygen. It only took about 3o minutes in total to do the facial and the air blast was very cold, but the serum was sucked right into my skin which instantly looked plumped up and dewy.
I was surprised that I was able to have these 3 treatments in one day as they are all quite powerful but apparently you can.
My skin looked so glorious by the end of this that I completely forgot to take a photo of myself. You’ll just have to take my word for it!
Next time:
I add another very effective treatment into my regime while I continue to wait for the Hifu to kick in. But I start to wonder if it ever will?
