How wonderful to find a skincare range that has such effective products, with cutting-edge, active ingredients, at very affordable prices.
DoSe really is a gem of a range
The truth is that with most expensive products, you are paying for packaging and advertising. They often use the same ingredients as good quality, low cost brands like DoSe. That’s why I firmly believe that you don’t need to spend a fortune on skincare. You just need to buy carefully, looking for those important active ingredients.
As we age, it’s important to target the specific issues that arise
I spoke about these in a recent article – How I upped my skincare routine at 60
In the video below I speak about some of my favourite products from DoSe.
Ergothioneine Serum – £26
This is at the most expensive end of the range but is worth every penny.
This little known, but powerful antioxidant, has more benefits for skin than any other known ingredient. Forty one and counting. Not only will it help protect against pollution, but will also help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and leave your skin super hydrated.
Alpha Arbutin 2% & Kojic Aced 1% Serum – £18
This specifically targets pigmentation. As we age, our pigmentation rises closer to the surface and at the same time, our skin begins to thin, meaning that pigmentation becomes more visible. This is one of the most ageing things for skin. It leaves us with an uneven skin tone and a dull complexion. This helps to fade age spots (no product will get rid of pigmentation completely).
Azelaic Acid – £15
This is the gold standard Alpha Hydroxy Acid because it’s very easy to tolerate. If you have redness or rosacea, this can help. It gently exfoliates, smooths and helps skin turnover.
Prickly Pear Oil – £22
This is one of the most powerful anti-ageing oils in the world and one of the most expensive. This DoSe one is an absolute bargain. Facial oils are pure, natural and one of my favourite skin products. And Prickly Seed Oil tops them all in my opinion.
